Next Generation Leadership Program

We are committed to developing strong leaders who model Christ-like character in their communities and areas of influence. Our Next Generation Leadership Program is the pinnacle of our formational trainings, supporting tomorrow’s leaders as they discover who God has created them to be. NGLP offers sponsorships to academically exceptional students, providing access to Africa Renewal University and other approved universities and vocational schools.

Our Next Generation Leadership Program was born out of the desire to give our students who have God-given leadership qualities the opportunity to be equipped and mentored at a deeper level.

NGLP students receive tuition assistance, room and board, and access to basic medical care, as well as leadership training and spiritual development through mentoring, career counseling, campus fellowships, prayer retreats, and service opportunities.

Access to higher education gives students a greater chance to find sustainable employment and end the cycle of extreme poverty. Uganda and all of Africa needs Christians in every vocational sector to live out gospel hope. Without support, few of our students would be able to attend university. NGLP allows students to pursue advanced education while being equipped to enter the workforce as strong Christian leaders who can transform the country, the continent, and the world through the power of Christ.

NGLP sponsorships and scholarships support our students in the following ways:

• Financial assistance for tuition, books, room and board
• Intentional one-on-one discipleship and mentoring
• Leadership training workshops and retreats
• Service projects and missions opportunities
• Networking and career counseling
• Access to basic medical care when needed
• Campus fellowship and community

To sponsor an NGLP student, visit our Sponsor a Student page. If you would like to support the work of the Next Generation Leadership Program but sponsoring a student is not a possibility for you at this time, you can give to the NGLP fund to provide critical resources for our students.

Donations to the NGLP fund will support the needs of students and the facilitation of key program activities.

• A donation of $25 per month provides leadership training for one student
• A donation of $40 per month donation provides accommodations for a student who needs housing
• A donation of $600 donation provides devotional materials for discipleship for 100 students
• A donation of $5,500 yearly donation covers 2 semi-annual prayer retreats for all students

From the foundations laid in our Child Development Programs and through the defining experiences of our Transformational Leadership Training, NGLP equips our most elite students to step into places of leadership based on their God-given gifts and passions. Year after year, the Next Generation Leadership Program helps shape Christ-like leaders who renew society.
