MEET Shirat
KAW04036 Shirat is a resilient and hopeful child whose story reflects the challenges and strength found in many families. Shirat was taken to her grandmother’s home by her father when she was just a year old. Since then, she has been under her grandmother’s care, with no support from her father, who struggles with substance abuse. Her grandmother, who sells vegetables at a small stall, enrolled Shirat in the CDP program because she cannot fully support her. Several other children in similar circumstances also live with her grandmother. Sponsoring Shirat would be a meaningful step toward supporting her journey of growth, education, and transformation.
