KYE01265 Richard lives in Kyengeza with his single mother who struggles to provide since his father abandoned the family. Being in the program has given Richard's life a sense of stability, giving him the opportunity to receive an education and to be mentored and discipled by our staff, growing into a strong Christian leader. He has a strong work ethic, is disciplined and passionate about his studies, and as the eldest child, hopes to succeed in his education so that he can support his mother and family. Richard is a good student, testing well enough to take advanced courses in high school, and only has a couple years of school left. He is in Senior 5 and his favorite subject is divinity, but he needs a new sponsor to continue to receive assistance and complete his education.
