EMBRACING CHILDREN

Loving Hearts Babies Home

Founded in 2009, Loving Hearts Babies Home rescues abandoned and orphaned babies from ages 0-3. We provide a safe place to live in a loving Christian environment, medical and nutritional care, and reintegration with their family or other loving caregivers.

Early Childhood Development Program

Through this program, the most vulnerable toddlers between the ages of 1-3 years old in the slum areas of Kampala, Uganda are nurtured, discipled, fed and clothed. Each day they have a safe place to play, eat a meal, worship and get a bath before going home.

Bethany Children’s Village

Bethany Children's Village is a unique place where abandoned and orphaned children live in family-style homes from ages 3 and up.
Caretakers in each home nurture and care for the children, providing them with a loving environment until they are reunited with family members or placed in permanent homes.

Next Generation Leadership Program

Through sponsorships, we provide academically exceptional students access to Africa Renewal University and other approved universities and vocational schools. While attending school, our leadership team provides discipleship training that prepares them to lead their families, communities, country, and the world as followers of Christ.

Transformational Leadership Training Program

This program is a three-month, intensive and practical leadership course, designed to disciple and train high school graduates to become transformational Christian leaders. The program reflects Africa Renewal's vision to see Christ-like people renewing society. Led by our Africa Renewal leadership team, the students grow in leadership knowledge, skills, and values so they can become agents of transformation in their homes, schools, churches, and communities.

Africa Renewal University

AfRU was founded based on Africa's great need for Christian leaders to rise up, share the compassion of Christ and the gospel of hope in a society that is desperately longing for transformation. Today, there are students from 45 different tribes in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Sudan, Eritrea, and Kenya who are being equipped as leaders through Certificate, Undergraduate Degree, and Masters Degree programs. The program studies range from journalism to public administration to an MBA!

EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES

Mercy Network

Africa Renewal engages with the most vulnerable communities by providing food relief, offering skills in economic empowerment, and sharing the transformational message of the gospel. We work through Africa Renewal-affiliated churches and Children's Hunger Fund to help these communities in need.

Renewal Healthcare

Renewal Healthcare is a Christ-centered healthcare system empowering individuals and communities to attain and sustain a higher quality of life through holistic care. We started Renewal Healthcare in 2005, and it continues to offer diagnostic treatment, basic surgical procedures and community health programs. In 2022 alone, we have served over 12,000 patients!

Church Planting and Partnerships

Since its inception in 1990, Africa Renewal has planted more than 650 churches which serve the needs of the local communities. Our goal in church planting is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, equip communities with direct access to food, and provide access to healthcare through our Renewal Healthcare network.

Mission Trips

There are many opportunities for teams to serve and spread the gospel to those who don't know Jesus. From children's sports camps to medical missions, we can design a trip that will be a blessing to Uganda and your team members. Our US-based office, plans, trains, and sends teams so that our staff in Uganda can focus on what they do best - hosting teams!
