MEET Amelia
KAT05068 Amelia lives in Katovu with her single mother who struggles to provide for their large family by selling clothes door-to-door. Her father is alive but doesn't live with the family or contribute to help with any of their needs. Being in the program has given Amelia's life stability, allowing her to go to school and to be mentored and discipled by the staff at our Child Development Program. She is bright, has a deepening relationship with Christ, and is learning to take on leadership roles at Awana. Amelia is a good student in Primary 4 in school, her favorite subject is English, and she loves athletics. She needs a new sponsor to remain in the program and continue her education.
