LUS04521 Benita lives in Lusaze with her parents who struggle to provide for the family's most basic needs. She has a sibling with special needs who requires a lot of care, so only her father is able to work while her mother stays home as the caregiver. Being in the program has given Benita's life stability, allowing her to go to school and to be mentored and discipled by the staff at our Child Development Program. She is a natural leader, loves helping at Awana and Sunday school, and volunteers for leadership roles regularly. Even in discouraging situations, she finds hope in the Lord and has a gift for encouraging others. Benita is a good student in Primary 5 in school, her favorite subject is English, and she loves to play soccer. She needs a new sponsor to remain in the program and continue her education.
