GBA03686 Hatimah lives in the slums of Gaba with her single mother who struggles to make ends meet on her own since her father abandoned the family. Hatimah started out in our Early Childhood Program that provides nutritious meals and a safe place to play for toddlers from the slums. With a sponsorship through ECP, she was able to start school on time which is a rare blessing for children in such extreme poverty! Being in the program has given Hatimah's life stability, allowing her to go to school and be mentored and discipled by the staff at our Child Development Program. Hatimah is a good student in Primary 2 in school, her favorite subject is English, and she loves to play. She needs a new sponsor to remain in the program and continue her education.
