Allan Akankwasa’s story is one of courage, transformation, and unwavering determination. After losing his father in 2007 and facing displacement, Allan’s mother worked tirelessly doing odd jobs to support their family of five. In 2008, Allan was registered in Kachungwa CDP, and due to receiving a sponsorship he was able to attend school and complete Senior 6. His journey through the sponsorship program and the Transformational Leadership Training (TLT) ignited a deep spiritual and personal awakening—he surrendered his life to Christ, discovered his gift of service, and overcame shyness to become a confident communicator and leader.  Now, Allan dreams of pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, aiming to use his faith, leadership, and problem-solving abilities to build a better future for his community.
