Doreen Mahoro is a 20-year-old young woman whose life has been transformed through education and mentorship. Growing up in a large family with limited resources, educational opportunities were never guaranteed. Through sponsorship from the Kyengeza Child Development Program, Doreen completed her education and developed a strong faith, leadership skills, and a passion for serving others.

Inspired by the impact of generosity in her own life, Doreen dreams of becoming a social worker. She has already taken a courageous step of faith by beginning a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration at Makerere University, despite uncertainty about how she will pay for her studies.
