Growing up in a family of six children, Jackline Namubiru understands the challenges that can stand between a young person and their dreams. When financial hardship forced her to leave school during Senior Four, it seemed her education might come to an end. But through the support of the Lusaze Child Development Program, Jackline was able to return to school, complete Senior Six, and become the first child in her family to reach this milestone. Along the way, she grew in her faith, character, and compassion for others through church and community service.

Jackline dreams of studying Journalism and using her voice to advocate for the voiceless, tell truthful stories, and bring attention to important issues affecting vulnerable communities. She hopes her future career will allow her to serve God, support her family, and inspire positive change.
