Joel is a compassionate and hardworking young man whose life has been transformed through education, faith, and perseverance. Growing up in a family that relies entirely on peasant farming, he understands firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable households. Through the support of the Soroti Child Development Programme, Joel was able to complete high school while developing strong leadership skills, serving in church ministries, and building a heart for helping others. The program provided the foundation that enabled him to dream beyond his circumstances and pursue a meaningful future.

Joel has been admitted to Makerere University to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, with the goal of serving marginalized communities and helping vulnerable families overcome hardship. However, after completing high school, his childhood sponsorship ended, and his family lacks the resources needed to cover tuition fees. Without urgent support, Joel faces the possibility of postponing his studies. Sponsorship would provide him with the opportunity to begin university, prepare for a career in social work, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those most in need.
