Joseph Ahimbisibwe is a dedicated second year Bachelor of Laws student at Kabale University whose life reflects perseverance and purpose. After the death of his father, Joseph’s mother struggled to provide for six children, and most of his siblings were forced to leave school. Through the child sponsorship program at Africa Renewal, Joseph was able to start his education—an opportunity that gave him hope and direction. Inspired by his mother’s strength and grounded in his faith in Christ, he chose to study law so he can stand up for widows, children, and others who face injustice without a voice. Now working hard to complete his degree, Joseph is prayerfully seeking a new sponsor to help him finish his studies and fulfill his calling to bring justice and positive change to his community.
