Growing up in a family of six children, Martha Aanyu witnessed her parents work tirelessly as humble farmers to provide for their family. Despite financial hardship, Martha remained committed to her education and excelled academically. Through the Child Development Program, she received the support and encouragement needed to complete high school and believe that her future could be different from her circumstances. Recently, her hard work earned her admission to Makerere University to study Software Engineering.

Martha dreams of becoming a software engineer who uses technology to create opportunities, solve problems, and make a meaningful impact in her community. However, university costs are far beyond what her family can afford, threatening to place her dream on hold.
