Growing up in a large polygamous family with limited resources, Sandra Babirye often faced uncertainty about her future. Yet through her mother’s encouragement and the support of the Mayuge Child Development Program, she discovered hope, purpose, and the opportunity to pursue an education. Over the years, Sandra developed strong leadership skills, eventually serving as a child representative while growing in confidence, faith, and a passion for helping others.

Sandra dreams of studying Business Administration and becoming a successful entrepreneur. Inspired by the struggles she witnessed in her own family, she hopes to build businesses that create employment opportunities, strengthen families, and empower young people. She is also passionate about mentoring girls in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership.
