Scovia Ajok has faced many challenges growing up. As the oldest of eight children, she never knew her father, and when her mother remarried, she left Scovia and her siblings with their struggling grandmother. Things became even harder when moneylenders took everything the family owned, including their small home. BUT hope returned when a kind neighbor helped enroll Scovia in Africa Renewal’s Child Development Program. Through the program, she received help with school fees and medical care, found a loving church community, and began to heal emotionally and spiritually. Today, Scovia is studying for a Diploma in Pharmacy because she wants to help people in her community access the medicines they need. She is determined to finish her studies, but she currently has no sponsor. Scovia is hoping for someone to support her so she can complete her training and become the Pharmacist she dreams of being.
