Since 2011, Wentz Medical Centre has operated beyond capacity, underscoring the urgent need for expansion. With $4.5 million raised by the end of 2024, construction of a seven-level community Hospital is now underway. This construction will increase the number of patients from 30,000 to 100,000 and increase the number of beds from the current 8 to at least 55.
Your generous gift will not only expand our ability to meet healthcare needs by taking the medical center from a Level 3 clinic to a Level 4 hospital offering expanded services, but will also provide greater opportunity to share the HOPE found in Jesus Christ with many more people in the Ggaba community.
UPDATE: As of September 2025, more than $5.2 million of the $11.5 million goal has been raised. The new seven-story hospital tower has reached the roofing stage. The expanded facility will include advanced diagnostic services, surgical suites, maternity care, and critical care units. Built through faith and partnership, this tower represents the next chapter in delivering whole-person healing to Uganda—and beyond.
