Next Generation Leadership Program (NGLP)
Africa Renewal is committed to developing strong leaders who model Christ-like character in their communities and spheres of influence. The Next Generation Leadership Program (NGLP) represents the highest level of leadership formation, supporting emerging leaders as they discover their God-given identity and purpose.
NGLP provides sponsorships for academically exceptional students, offering access to Africa Renewal University and other approved universities and vocational schools. The program was established to give students with demonstrated leadership potential the opportunity to be equipped and mentored at a deeper level.
Participants receive tuition assistance, housing, meals, and access to basic medical care. In addition, they engage in leadership training, discipleship, mentoring, career counseling, campus fellowship, prayer retreats, and community service opportunities.
Access to higher education opens doors to sustainable employment and breaks cycles of extreme poverty. Uganda and Africa need Christians serving faithfully in every vocational sector, living out gospel hope in their professions. For many students, this opportunity would not be possible without sponsorship. NGLP enables students to pursue higher education while being equipped to enter the workforce as strong Christian leaders who can transform their communities, their nation, and the world through the power of Christ.
