Loving Hearts Babies Home was founded in 2009 by Africa Renewal Ministries in Kampala, Uganda. We currently serve as temporary care-givers to abandoned, neglected, and orphaned children-- fulfilling the scriptural mandate to care for orphans in their distress (James 1:27).

In Uganda, a staggering number of infants and toddlers are in dire straits—abandoned, neglected, or orphaned. Each day without help is another day their tiny bodies fight against malnutrition, illness, and a bleak future. The clock is ticking, and every moment counts. These children desperately need someone to step in, to be their guardian angel. Could that be you?

Loving Hearts Babies Home at Africa Renewal Ministries, is actively addressing this dire situation by offering a refuge for these abandoned and vulnerable children, aiming for more than just their physical well-being. The home is certified to care for infants and toddlers up to three years of age. We provide a comprehensive range of services that include safe temporary custody, medical care, nutrition, and psychosocial support. We also take the crucial step of tracing families and communities to reintegrate these children, either through reunification or foster placements with an ultimate goal of adoption. 

With a capacity to care for 30 to 35 rescued babies at a time, and a target to support over 90 babies annually, Loving Hearts is earnestly seeking the financial support of partners and well-wishers to continue this invaluable service. The home's focus is to ensure 90% of these children are reintegrated into safe families, providing not just immediate relief but long-term, sustainable solutions to a pressing problem.
