MBA04712 Gerinah lives in Mbarara. While her parents work to try to provide for the family, Gerinah stays with her grandmother and helps her with household chores. Being in the program has not only given Gerinah the chance to go to school but has also allowed her to be mentored and discipled by our staff. She is growing in character, learning to take on responsibilities, and has leadership roles at Awana. Gerinah loves school and enjoys being involved at church and Sunday school. She is a disciplined student in Primary 1 in school and her favorite subject is drawing, but she needs a new sponsor to remain in the program and continue her education.
