Encounter Hope

For over 20 years Africa Renewal has hosted teams in Uganda and been the connection point uniting believers from all over the world with God's mission to bring the hope of the gospel to Uganda. Through Hope Encounters short-term mission teams, organizations, and individuals serve & minister in a variety of ways.

Serve Children

Through our Child Development Centers, through schools, or through church programs you'll have the opportunity to minister to vulnerable children through VBS, creative arts, or Bible teaching.

Serve Leaders

Through training and conferences where you'll share specialized skills you'll minister to leaders and staff at Africa Renewal Head Office or Africa Renewal University. Encourage Leaders through prayer or lead staff in worship.

Serve Communities

Through church outreach and evangelism, leading Bible studies or prayer meetings, hosting a mercy project, or serving in mobile medical clinics, you'll support the church and bring the hope of the gospel in communities where Africa Renewal is having an impact.

Costs

The base cost for a 7-Day In-Country Hope Encounter is $1600/person. This includes lodging, meals, travel insurance, background screening, facilitation & programming in Uganda, and pre-trip preparations in the US office. Airfare and excursions, as well as some larger ministry projects or extensive travel have an extra cost.
